Kristin Parnell

Kristin A. Parnell is the Founder and Owner of Festive Flair Events, a boutique event management and design company that creates memorable and heartfelt occasions. Customer-centered Approach. Excellence. Relationships. Profit. Enthusiasm. These themes have defined Kristin’s nearly 15-year career as a retail manager, entrepreneur, office manager and engaged citizen. She has worked in various retail management capacities while employed at See’s Candies for over 10 years and at the Fresh & Easy grocery chain. At See’s, she led store operations and customer service training that resulted in her being distinguished as the manager of the highest sales volume in the district in 2002, as well as, recruiting and training over 400 employees needed to fulfill holiday season staffing needs. She played a key role in Fresh & Easy’s entry into the United States market, serving on the store opening team for 5 outlets and managing her own store in South Los Angeles.

After a rewarding career in retail, she transitioned into entrepreneurship to nurture her passion for serving people and bringing visibility to causes that matter. Festive Flair Events was sparked in 2009. Applying exceptional customer service, management and creative skills, Kristin provides much-needed visioning, coordination and marketing services for individuals, small businesses and community organizations. Notably, she has raised considerable funds for human service organization, Watts Labor Community Action Committee, and the Pico Union neighborhood pillar, Village Health Foundation.

Kristin holds a Certificate in Meeting and Event Planning from California State University, Dominguez Hills. With her commitment to community service, Kristin served as a Business Client Supervisor for Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses at Long Beach City College, while also volunteering with Message Media Education, a media literacy program which helps youth to become innovators in the 21st Century knowledge economy. She is also currently a Support Facilitator with the College iCan Program at Sanctuary of Hope, a non-profit organization which serves foster youth.

In her professional and personal life, Kristin always emphasizes serving and empowering others, embracing diversity and living life with passion.
