Travis Brooks specializes in working with property owners, business owners, and cities on business district revitalization projects. He has formed and renewed dozens of improvement districts.
Since 2001, Travis has helped many PBIDs and BIDs organize their board of directors, build consensus around service programs, establish their non-profit corporations and complete the steps to form a district. He has been involved in every aspect of PBID and BID formation and renewal including: building successful BID service programs, developing equitable assessment methodologies, creating baseline services agreements, and managing petition and ballot campaigns to gain BID approval.
Travis has been involved in regulatory, economic and community development activities since leaving the Navy and coming to California in 1982 and managing programs at Southern California Edison, Management Resources International and the City of Long Beach. Mr. Brooks received his B.S. in Organizational Behavior from the University of San Francisco.
